We had our first snow in October. Audrey enjoyed it outside making snowmen and Eva was happy to enjoy it inside looking out the window.

We spent the a day at Cornbellys with the cousins over UEA. It was great day and the kids had a great time.

Well we have lots of news to report on. I'll start with the most important. Audrey lost her first tooth! She was on cloud nine for two days. She was so excited she almost couldn't contain herself! However, she did unfortunately inherit the Wallace fainting gene. When she realized she was bleeding she turned to me and said "I don't feel good". I took one look at her green face and rushed her to the couch to lay down. She soon recovered and the excitement took over. She has been waiting for this moment for a long time. All her friends have already lost teeth and she has been wondering if it will ever be her turn.
Audrey also scored a goal in the final soccer game of the season. We were thrilled for her. This is the first year she has played positions in soccer plus she is on a bigger field with more girls so it has been a little intimidating. So she was very excited when she scored a goal.

In other news Eva finally graduated to a big girl bed. She was so excited she actually wanted to go to bed for a change. She looked so small in that great big bed. I can't believe my baby is growing up.

Audrey got in with her to fill up some of that extra space.

I also should report that we finally sold the speck home we have had for sell for over a year now. We finally closed on it 2 weeks ago and could not be more relieved. It was truly a miracle that it sold in this market. In fact there has not been a legitimate sell (that was not a foreclosure or bankruptcy) in that neighborhood for over a year. We know that there were many prayers and much fasting on our behalf and we truly do feel that it was a blessing from the Lord. Thanks to everyone who helped us and showed their support and love over the last year. It has been a stressful year, yet we feel like we have grown and learned a lot from all of our challenges.

Nate also started a new job as a senior financial analyst for Boart Longyear. We also feel like this job was another great blessing considering the current economic situation. He is enjoying his job and likes the people he works for and with.

We took another trip to Bear Lake with some friends of ours. Mitzi and Deon were nice enouph to let us use thier cabin while they were away on a cruise. The weather was a little cool but we still had a great time. We took the kids to the beach to play in the sand, went on a bike ride to the park, swam in the hot tub, ate milkshakes, roasted marshmallows, and just hung out. It was a great get-a-way before Nate started his new job.
Hot tub fun!
Eva and her playmate Ava did not quite grasp the concept of only getting thier feet wet which resulted in naked babies. And who doesn't love a naked baby?

Roasting marshmallows.

The Zoo

We go to see the animals but the train is always the favorite.
Eva was too scared of the elephant statue to get in the picture.
However, not afraid of the fake tiger. Go figure.

Audrey begged me all summer long to take her to the zoo. So finally, two weeks before school started we made the trip. It was really hot but we still had a great time.

These are the latest professional photos I have of my kids. I can't get over how grown up they look. Audrey started first grade 2 days after the photos. My heart ached a little bit and I actually got teary eyed. It seemed like such a big jump from kindergarten. She is gone so long and she even eats lunch without me. It's just me and Eva now. She misses her sister too, but she is a good little buddy to have around.

Audrey's Birthday Party

Can u believe Audrey is 6! We had a "summer fun" birthday party. We decorated flip-flops played on a giant water slide, had a pinata, ate cake and ice cream and of course opened presents. All in all it was a great success.

The 24th of July

We spent the 24th with family at Grandma Sue's and Papa's. The kids did the slip and slide and we had a BBQ and ate ice cream.

Audrey meets baby Jake

Audrey met her newest cousin Jake Benjamin Morton for the first time in July. She was enamored by him. She loved to hold him, sing to him, feed him, and just sit and stare at him. It was kind of funny because she showed absolutely no interest when Eva was born. It was fun to see Audrey in a whole new light.

More Bear Lake

Eva LOVED the beach! Everyday she woke up asking to go to the beach.
Eva enjoying her good and plentys. She is always sniffing out good eats.
Audrey has been so cute with Eva lately. She is always watching out for her and protecting her. Here she is helpling her to the beach after a fun boat ride.
Eva never misses out on an opportunity for a good nap. She curled up on a chair and fell asleep on the beach after a fun morning in the sun.
We found Eva asleep on the couch just like this after she went missing for a while. When we woke her up she had a fist full of m&ms and there was a puddle of chocolate drool on the couch. So you can see she is doing her two favorite things - sleeping and eating treats.

Bear Lake

Going to the Beach
Riding the tube with Dad.
Playing in the sand.

I bet you can guess all the places we found sand after this.

We just got back from our family trip to Bear Lake. Audrey had a great time playing with her cousins. She is a fish and loves to be in and by water. She was very brave this trip and took several rides out on the tube with her Dad and cousins.

Fourth of July

For the fourth of July we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house for fireworks. The girls had a "sleep-over" while the adults played games. In case you were wondering Haley won the game.

Audrey had a fashion show play date. As always Eva tagged along. Eva loves to think she is one of the "big girls" and Audrey is usually happy to oblige. We painted nails and had makeovers and then the girls walked the runway.
